Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is a model and actress. Alison Doody first made a film debut as an actress and Bond model with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. The other roles she played include Siobhan Donavan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody was a model when the opportunity was offered by a hopeful photographer. The career she pursued has transformed into commercial modeling. Doody was very determined not to do the glamorous work or doing nude. The rule was extended to her acting career. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery in the film, as Indy's dad. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries, a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. She then moved to Hollywood. It was her choice to succeed Cybill Shepard in the role of L'Oreal spokeswoman. She was later cast alongside Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his wife and agent in Major League II. Doody made her acting comeback in 2003, playing a small role on her role in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards show. The roles she played included a TV movie version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust as well as an animated short called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody recorded a part in Danny Dyer's film The Rapture. The Clinic, a medical drama, aired on RTE. The Asphyx was the remake she made in 2011. In 2011, she started the second season in the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she was a part of We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria the tierra de film prize was awarded to her on the 21st of November, 2018. The actress also was given one of the stars at the Almeria Walk of Fame.
